Mrs. Jennifer Gillaspie has over 20 years of experience as an educator and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Education at East Texas Baptist University. After graduating from Hallsville High School, she went on to pursue her undergraduate degree from ETBU. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education with a specialization in reading. She graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Curriculum and Instruction degree, and she also earned a Master Reading Teacher certificate and a Reading Specialist endorsement. Currently, she is attending Kansas State University to obtain an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Gillaspie believes that training the next generation of teachers is a calling, and she is blessed to be able to work with preservice teachers as they prepare to become educators.
