Dr. Anthony Sawyer has been teaching Economics since 2005. He begin serving as the Associate Professor of Economics at East Texas Baptist University in 2018. In addition to teaching Economics, Dr. Sawyer also teaches Accounting and Business Research Methods. He is an Eagle Scout, has been married for thirty years, and has three children. Dr. Sawyer has a BBA in Finance, MS in Economics, thirty graduate hours in Accounting, and an Ed.D. in Higher Education (all from Texas A&M - Commerce). He is a member of the American Economic Association, American Educational Research Association, and the Institute of Management Accountants. In addition to teaching experience, Dr. Sawyer has business and administrative experience.
