Mrs. Shelby Burger currently serves as the Director of Field Experiences and Certification Officer at ETBU. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University as well as a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.
Mrs. Burger began her career in education teaching 5th grade Science and Social Studies at Denton Creek Elementary in Coppell ISD. The Burgers moved to Marshall in 2016 where she then taught 5th grade Science and Social Studies at Sam Houston Middle School. Mrs. Burger has been teaching 2nd grade at David Crockett Elementary for the last three years. Mrs. Burger's husband, Cameron, currently serves as the Director of Construction and Bass Fishing Coach for ETBU. They have a son, Boston, who was born in 2017.
