Meet Ms. Martha Dudley

Ms. Martha Dudley MSN, RN is an assistant professor in the Teague School of Nursing at East Texas Baptist University. She currently teaches Medical Surgical II, Integrated Nursing Practice, Concepts of Pathophysiology and clinicals at various levels within the nursing program. Ms. Dudley earned her BSN at ETBU. She graduated in 2002 as a registered nurse and started her professional nursing career in Longview as a cardiac nurse. She later went to Walden University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the American Nurses Association. Whether it is praying with a patient before surgery, or holding the hand of the patient or family member during a time of loss, Ms. Dudley believes that nursing care is more than treating the disorder. It is a holistic approach of caring for patients that allows nurses to be spiritual, compassionate, and caring with people from all walks of life.
