Meet Jeremy Batten

"They surrounded me on every side, but in the name of the Lord I cut them down."

Jeremy Batten serves as the Wide Receivers Coach at ETBU. He brings NCAA Division III playing and coaching experience, as well as time as a professional athlete.

Before joining ETBU, Batten coached wide receivers at LaGrange College and Anderson Broaddus University, and began his career at North Carolina Wesleyan working with tight ends and special teams.

As a player, Batten competed at Howard Payne University and Belhaven University, where he was a two-year starter and four-time Academic All-Conference honoree. He went on to play professionally in the National Arena League with the West Texas Warbirds and Albany Empire, as well as the Salina Liberty of the Arena Football League.

Batten earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Howard Payne University and a master’s degree in Sports Management from Belhaven University.
