Mrs. Rebecca Smith is thrilled to join the East Texas Baptist University community this year. Rebecca will serve as the Clinical Director of Speech-Language Pathology for the William B. Dean Center for Language and Literacy Development, as well as Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. Rebecca holds a Texas License in Speech-Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Prior to joining ETBU, Rebecca worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for twenty-four years across a range of settings, including hospital, inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation, home health, and school districts. Rebecca is honored to teach and support students in Speech-Language Pathology as they begin to fulfill God's calling in their lives.
