Rebecca Coman is the Instructional Designer for Online Education and Administrative Assistant for Adult Education/Graduate Programs and the Registrar’s Office. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Master of Ed in Curriculum and Instruction Math, both from the University of Texas at Arlington. She holds a Texas teaching certification and was certified in instructional design from Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA). She was a public school educator for 23 years. Rebecca is passionate about creating engaging learning. She believes that when people are engaged, learning can flourish. She has been influenced by so many people on the value of education, but none more than her parents, who instilled in her the importance of exploring and encouraged her curiosity to learn. She is married to Tim Coman, a pastor of a local church. They enjoy watching movies together and playing with their cat, Lola.
