Meet Dr. Sherryl Berg-Ridenour

Dr. Sherryl Berg - Ridenour serves as Assistant Professor of Management at the School of Business and Director of the MBA program. Before her calling to ETBU, Sherryl spent the last 23 + years in southern California teaching at various institutions and in corporate business.

In California universities, she served as a Regional Director of Business Programs as well at the Assistant Professor in Marketing in the School of Business teaching management and marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. One of her recent research projects utilizes Brandwatch/Crimson social media listening tools to examine the effectiveness of messages of hope on Generation Z with respect to careers, academics, relationships, and politics. 

To make a positive impact in the world around her, Dr. Berg-Ridenour worked part-time as a women's counselor at a Family Crisis Center for abused women & children. Dr. Berg-Ridenour is also a founding member and board member of a nonprofit -RCAhomestay.com. The organization is a 501C that helps build a network of support around emancipated foster youth in college to help them succeed in college through showing them the love of Christ and connecting them to local church families.

Sherryl has been married to her husband, John Berg-Ridenour for 35 years beginning their journey in Colorado and then moving to Illinois before settling in California having two incredible kids (Samuel & Lena) and their dog, Captain Kirk, a sweet Irish Wolfhound.
