Professor Martelly has over 30 years of experience in directing, producing, and choreographing Theatrical and Musical productions and currently serves as Visiting Professor of Theatre Arts for the School of Communication and Performing Arts at East Texas Baptist University.
Professor Martelly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Drama from The University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in Theatre from Regent University.
Professor Martelly is an active member of First Baptist Church Waskom serving in children's ministry and Vacation Bible School. She actively works with The Children Evangelism Fellowship organization in conjunction with First Baptist Church Waskom and Crossroads Baptist Church in Elysian Fields where she shares the Good News with children in the public elementary schools as well as Marshall Jr. high school. She leads students to repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as their savior. Professor Martelly believes in the power of teaching young adults how to evangelize young children effectively and lead them to Christ.
