A military kid, Sharon Barrow has lived on every continent except Australia and Antarctica. She has taught and performed music professionally since she was fifteen years old. She attended the University of South Alabama where she received her Bachelor's in Piano Performance, with a secondary concentration in organ. From Mobile she moved to Chicago where she studied under Ludmila Lazar, earning a double Master's in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy at the Musical College of Roosevelt University.
She has since lived in East Texas where she taught in Longview ISD and Kilgore College before joining the faculty and staff at ETBU.
