David Butts serves as Director of Admissions for B. H. Carroll Theological Seminary. He earned a B.A. in Practical Theology at Howard Payne University in 1985, and a M.A. in Religious Education with a concentration in Childhood Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1991.
David has served in Texas Baptist churches for over 40 years and as a Minister to Children and Families for over 36 years, notably 23 years at First Baptist Church Arlington. He has a passion for helping people, especially as they seek to fulfill God’s calling on their lives.
David and his wife, Lori have been married for 40 years. Lori taught 30 years as an elementary school teacher and they have two daughters and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf, reading, being with friends and playing with his grandchildren.
