Dr. Kelen H. Schmidt serves as Assistant Professor of Biology at ETBU. She holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Public Health (University of São Paulo, Brazil) and a M.S. in Food and Nutrition (UNESP, Brazil). Dr. Schmidt has a strong background in higher education, both teaching and in administrative roles, in Brazil and in the U.S. Dr. Schmidt came to the U.S. in 2015, accompanying her husband, who serves as an Assistant Professor at ETBU. They have been married for 27 years and have 2 children, Nicolas and Rebeca.
