Dr. Greg Tomlin, Professor of Church History and Director of PhD programs at B. H. Carroll Theological Seminary, received his BA in History and English from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He received his MA, as well as his PhD, in Church History and Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Tomlin also studied at Baylor University and Boston University's Institute on Culture, Religion, and World Affairs. His favorite areas of study are the English and American Puritans, as well as the intersection of politics and religion in American history. He wrote his dissertation on Southern Baptists and the Vietnam War.
