The ETBU Tiger Marching Band is a dynamic part of campus life. The Tiger Marching Band performs at all ETBU home football games, pep rally events, parades and occasional out-of-town performances. The band is made up of students from every academic major, and rehearses at 4:00 p.m. every Monday-Thursday during the fall semester. Band activities and rehearsals are designed and scheduled with the needs of the modern college student in mind. Band students can easily manage their academic courses and work schedules with their membership in the band.
High school students with an interest in ETBU and the Tiger Bands are invited play in the stands with us during the football games, and they may participate in the "Tiger Walk" and tailgating before the game! Students with previous experience in high school or college band may enroll in the Tiger Marching Band, however, there are placement auditions for certain sections of the band (i.e. colorguard, feature twirlers and drumline). Drum Major auditions are held at the end of each Spring semester and are open to all students who have participated in the ETBU Marching Band at least one season. Enrollment in this ensemble counts toward the 3-credit hour fine arts requirement on all ETBU degrees.
