The East Texas Baptist University Concert Choir is the flagship choral ensemble of the university and the primary ensemble for all vocal music majors. Known for its dedication to musical excellence, the choir performs repertoire spanning all historical periods and musical styles. In alignment with ETBU’s mission to be a light of Christ’s truth and beauty, the Concert Choir shares its faithful music through performances locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
The Concert Choir rehearses Monday through Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Open to all ETBU students by audition, the ensemble welcomes singers from all majors and backgrounds, regardless of prior choral experience. Participation in the Concert Choir enriches students’ musical and spiritual growth and fulfills the 3-credit hour fine arts requirement for all ETBU degrees. All members of the choir receive scholarships in recognition of their commitment and contribution. Interested students are encouraged to audition by contacting Dr. Pat Antinone directly.
