Lampsato is an auditioned worship band utilizing a instrumentation consistent with modern worship music ensembles. The band will represent the University in chapel performances and in a variety of events both on and off campus. The ensemble will compose and record original worship music, recruit for the The Department of Music and Theatre Arts and the University at large, and serve as a public relations arm for the music program.
Auditions are held at the end of the spring semester; students selected for Lampsato are expected to make a two-semester commitment (Fall/Spring).
Students will be selected for Lampsato based on outstanding musicianship, strong academics, and character consistent with the biblical qualities of worship leaders.
