  • Accelerated summer courses
  • Programs are designed for working professionals and traditional students
  • Accreditation is through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and Texas Education Agency (TEA)

Career Tracks:

Master of Education - Sports and Exercise Leadership

Prospective students who currently have a bachelor's degree may pursue a track that will prepare them for leadership roles in sports related fields.

Master of Education - Teacher Certification

Prospective students have the opportunity to choose a track that allows those who currently hold a bachelor’s degree to pursue  teaching certification in secondary, elementary or all level fields while earning their master's degree at the same time. 

Master of Education - Education Leadership

Prospective students who currently hold a teacher's certificate have the opportunity to pursue  principal certification while earning their master's degree at the same time. If you are already in possession of a master's degree, you may take the courses required for principal certification only.

Master of Education - Curriculum and Instructional

Prospective students who currently have a bachelor’s degree may pursue a track in curriculum and instruction in preparation for further growth in the field of education and possible leadership roles in schools.

Master of Education in College and University Leadership

Offers students a broad understanding of higher education administration and leadership.

Master of Education in School Counseling*

Provides students with a strong foundation for school counselor positions in Texas public schools. Upon completion of the required program students will be eligible to sit for the TExES exam in school counseling.
