ETBU Releases 2015 Spring Dean's List with Honors and Dean's List

MARSHALL, Texas (5/27/15)- East Texas Baptist University has recognized its students for outstanding academic achievement during the 2015 Spring Semester with the release of the Spring Dean's List with Honors and Dean's List. The Dean's List with Honors are students who have a 3.5 grade point average or above. The Dean's List is students who have a 3.25 to 3.49 grade point average.
    Listed below are the names of students earning recognition to the ETBU Dean's List with Honors and Dean's List. Students are sorted in alphabetical order, by home town and state.

MNM: ETBU Hosts Two-week Trip to Israel

MARSHALL NEWS MESSENGER (6/2/15) - Nine East Texas Baptist University students packed into the back corner of the IHOP in Marshall last Wednesday, most dressed in comfy athletic wear, still exhausted from their recent trip to Israel but happy to be together for their last day of class. 

Political science professor Israel Nandamudi said ending the History, Religion and Politics of Israel course at IHOP after their trip has become a bit of a tradition.

ETBU To Host The Hoppers & Cynthia Clawson In Two Separate Concerts

MARSHALL, Texas  (6/01/15) - As part of the East Texas Baptist University Senior Adult Conference (June 3-5) the East Texas community has the opportunity to attend two separate concerts without attending a full day schedule of the conference. Southern Gospel group The Hoppers will be in concert on Wednesday, June 3 at 1:00 p.m. Grammy and Dove Award winner Cynthia Clawson will perform on Friday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m.

ETBU Veterans Memorial Tennis Complex Dedicated

MARSHALL, Texas (5/28/15) - The East Texas Baptist University Athletic Department, in cooperation with the Office of University Advancement, held the Veteran's Memorial Tennis Complex Dedication Ceremony on campus in the Phillips Great Room of Bennett Student Commons.  The construction of the eight court facility was completed in October 2014 and is located on campus at the intersection of Tiger Drive and Van Zandt.
