Marketing Requests

CAMPAIGN/EVENT MARKETING REQUESTS

Level 1: Impact Events/Promotions

Examples: Graduation, Lecture Series, Fundraising Campaigns, Homecoming, Theatre Productions
Communication Lead Time: 12 weeks before materials need to be available to distribute (Not necessarily the date of the event).
Available Communication Channels: Advertisements, Campus Signage, Invitations, Photography, Press Release, Program & Event Items, Social Media Graphics and Posts

Level 2: Major Events/Promotions

Examples: Hilltop University, Tiger Day, Preview Day
Possible Communication Channels: Invitations, Photography, Press Release, Program & Event Items, Social Media Graphics and Posts
Communication Lead Time: 12 weeks before materials need to be available to distribute (Not necessarily the date of the event).

Level 3: Student Events/Promotions

Examples: Miss ETBU, Women’s Summit, Worship Summit
Possible Communication Channels: Photography, Press Release, Program & Event Items
Communication Lead Time: 8 weeks before materials need to be available to distribute (Not necessarily the date of the event).

OTHER MARKETING REQUESTS

Design

Examples: Flyer, Invitation, Information Card, Brochure, Advertisement
Communication Lead Time: 4 weeks before materials need to be available to distribute (Not necessarily the date of the event).
This type of request is used for one item.

Media Services

Find forms to request help with Media Services. The general request for an event is here as well as a request for basic equipment maintenance.

Photography

Examples: Awards Ceremony, Group Photo, Head Shot or Head Shots for a Department
Communication Lead Time: 2 weeks prior to photo time.
This request is for a one-time need. 

Press Release

Examples: Post Story or Pre-event Promotion
Communication Lead Time: 3 weeks prior to need.
This request is for a one-time need. 

Social Media

Examples: Advertisement, Promotion, or Coverage
Communication Lead Time: 2 weeks prior to need.
This request is for a one-time need. 

Tiger Daily 

Examples: Event invitations, updates to facility hours, employee spotlight suggestions (new hires, retirements, anniversaries, new births and adoptions, awards), community announcements
Communication Lead Time: One day in advance, preferably before 2:00 p.m.
Tiger Daily is an internal newsletter for faculty and staff at ETBU sent Monday through Friday, with the exception of when the University is closed. The purpose of Tiger Daily is to connect employees and consolidate all campus email announcements.

Website Update

Examples: Changes in Information, Add a Page
Communication Lead Time: Live in one week following request (typically). Lead time will vary based on complication of request.
Each department is responsible for keeping information up-to-date on the department's section of the website. Web updates may be done through request or editing within the individual department.

If you would like to receive a login to edit the website, or if you would like to add a page, then please fill out the web request. Please remember that all requests will adhere to the design standards.

Webform Update

Examples: Registration for an event
Communication Lead Time: Live in one week following request (typically). Lead time will vary based on complication of request.
Each department is responsible for keeping information up-to-date on the department's section of website. 

Update your Bio

Examples: Directory Information
Communication Lead Time: Live in one week following request (typically). Each member of the full-time faculty or staff is expected to provide a biography.
