The purpose of Family Weekend is to bring the faculty, staff, students, and families together for a weekend of fellowship. We have a variety of activities planned for the weekend that allow families to experience life on the Hill.
Cost for the weekend is:
- $35/adult
- $20/child (12 years and under)
- FREE for ETBU Students
- (This cost does not include tickets to the football game.)
Tickets for the Tiger Football game must be purchased separately. You can purchase football tickets online here.
Don't forget to visit the ETBU Bookstore from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

| 5:30pm | Family Weekend Check-In Meet us at The Grove to pick up your 2024 Family Weekend Schedule, Family Weekend T-Shirts, and Meal Tickets! |
| 6:00pm | Gather at the Grove Enjoy some downtime with your student with live music, fellowship, lawn games, and local crowd-favorite food trucks in the Grove (meals covered with tickets). We will also have our Outdoor Recreation Center open for family pick-up pickleball, sand volleyball, and basketball. |
| 6:00pm | ETBU Volleyball vs. University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Join the Tiger Family and cheer on the ETBU Tigers as they face the UMHB Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. at Ornelas Gym. No tickets needed! |
| 7:00pm | ETBU Hockey vs. University of Texas at San Antonio Grab a blanket, support the ETBU D3 Hockey Team, and cheer them on as they take on the UTSA Roadrunners at George’s Pond in Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. No tickets are needed! |
| 8:30pm | Movie Night Under the Stars at Jason Bell Park at Taylor Field End Day 1 with us at Taylor Field as we watch a family-favorite film! Bring your lawn chairs/blankets, or sit in the stands. Popcorn, candy, and drinks will be provided. No tickets are needed! |

| 9:00am | Small Business Saturday Market and Brunch Bar Join us and support our Tiger Students, Faculty, and Staff at our Small Business Saturday Market in the Quad! We have plenty of vendors lined up with products ranging from baked goods and coffees to crafts to beauty products and services! A FREE Brunch Bar will be provided with juices and grab-and-go breakfast foods. |
| 11:00am | Family Worship We will meet in Baker Chapel in the Rogers Spiritual Life Center to worship together as a Tiger Family. |
| 11:00am | ETBU Volleyball vs. University of Texas at Dallas Join the Tiger Family and cheer on the ETBU Tigers as they face the UTD Comets at 11:00 a.m. at Ornelas Gym. No tickets needed! |
| 12:00pm | Tiger Family Lunch Join the ETBU Family for our traditional Tiger Family Lunch with good food and fellowship in the Dining Hall (Bennett Student Commons). |
| 1:00pm | Family and Faculty Connection Enjoy a local Shivers Stick from our friends in the Alumni Office for the Family and Faculty Connection. Once you grab your tasty treat, walk around the Huffman Activities Area with your student and meet their favorite professors! After, feel free to hang out and play some board games that will be setup around the Ornelas Student Center. |
