Family Weekend

Start the weekend off by cheering on our girls as they kick off the Tiger Invitational Tournament with a game at 9:00 a.m. vs Hendrix College. All volleyball games will be played at Ornelas Gym in the Dean Healthplex. No tickets needed!

The Great East Texas Hymn Sing is an annual event hosted by ETBU where hundreds of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members gather to celebrate Christian faith through singing hymns. The free event features a worship service with hymns led by ETBU alumni, faculty, and staff, accompanied by piano and organ music. The celebration also includes a time of fellowship following worship. 

Keep up cheering for our Tigers as they play Game 2 and take on the CNU Captains at 4:30 p.m. at Ornelas Gym in the Dean Healthplex. No tickets needed!

Enjoy some downtime with your student with live music, fellowship, lawn games, and local crowd-favorite food trucks in the Grove (meals covered with tickets). We will also have our Outdoor Recreation Center open for family pick-up pickleball, sand volleyball, and basketball.

Grab a blanket and support our D2 Hockey Team as they take on the University of Texas at San Antionio Roadrunners in the Season Home Opener! All our hockey games will be played Crusaders at George’s Pond in Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisianna. No tickets needed!

Let’s have some fun and end Day 1 with Student Foundation at the Ornelas Student Center at 8:30 p.m. for some late-night Family Bingo! There will be a variety of prizes for the entire family to enjoy, along with a free snack bar. No tickets needed!

Don’t lose that Tiger Spirit yet! Cheer on our D3 Hockey Team as they battle it out against Missouri State immediately following our D2 game. Puck drop is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at George’s Pond in Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisianna. No tickets are needed!

Join us and support our Tiger Students, Faculty, and Staff at our Small Business Saturday Market in the Quad! We have plenty of vendors lined up with products ranging from baked goods and coffees to crafts to beauty products and services! A FREE Brunch Bar will be provided with juices and grab-and-go breakfast foods.

We will meet in Baker Chapel in the Rogers Spiritual Life Center to worship together as a Tiger Family.

Join the ETBU Family for our traditional Tiger Family Lunch with good food and fellowship in the Dining Hall inside the Bennett Student Commons.

Enjoy a sweet treat from our friends in the Alumni Office for the Family and Faculty Connection. Once you grab a free cookie or two, walk around the Huffman Activities Area with your student and meet their favorite professors! Afterward, feel free to hang out and play some board games that will be set up around the Ornelas Student Center.

It’s Day Two of our Tiger Invitational, and our girls need you to cheer them on! Head to Ornelas Gym at 2:00 p.m. as the ETBU Volleyball Team takes on the Southwestern Pirates for Game Three of the tournament.

Grab a jacket and support our Tigers as they head into the final game of the series against the UTSA Roadrunners. The puck will drop at 2:00 p.m. at George’s Pond in Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisianna. No tickets needed!

It’s Senior Day for our ETBU Women’s Soccer Team! Come celebrate our seniors and cheer them on as they play the St. Thomas Lions at 3:00 p.m. at Cornish Field. No tickets needed!

Join the ETBU Family for our traditional FREE Family Tailgate at The Grove. Show your support for the Tiger Football Team at the Tiger Walk at 3:30 p.m. 

Keep up your stamina, it’s the last hockey game of the weekend! Come cheer on our Tigers as they challenge Missouri State one last time at their 5:00 p.m. game at George’s Pond in Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisianna. No tickets needed!

Be a part of the excitement and cheer on the ETBU Tigers as they take on the Centenary Gents at 6:00 PM at Ornelas Stadium.  You can purchase tickets for the game online or at the stadium before the game.

The LeTourneau YellowJackets are coming to town, and we need you to help cheer on our girls as they play for a victory! The last volleyball game of the weekend will start at 7:00 p.m. at Ornelas Gym in the Dean Healthplex. Go Tigers!
