VOLLEYBALL: SHERMAN, Texas (9/13/15) - Rolling through day two at the Austin College Invitational, East Texas Baptist University swept both St. Gregory's University and Austin College. ETBU shut out each team winning in straight sets and now has won six straight matches and stands at 7-1 overall.

MARSHALL, Texas (7/28/15) - East Texas Baptist University begins classes for the Fall semester on Monday, August 24, 2015. 

ETBU will welcome first-time freshman and transfer students on Thursday, August 20, 2015, as they check-in to residence halls from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The faculty and staff will be present to greet the new students and serve them by helping them move in to the residence halls. Incoming freshmen who registered to attend Tiger Camp will arrive on campus a few days earlier.

The ETBU men's basketball team won their first-ever American Southwest Conference tournament championship in Ornelas Gym advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first-time, too.

MARSHALL NEWS MESSENGER (7/22/15) - A Hallsville High School and East Texas Baptist University alumni turned professor is wanting to give back to her community by hosting a first of its kind leadership seminar for area junior high and high school athletes and their parents.

Laci McRee, ETBU's assistant kinesiology professor, is hosting a Marshall leadership seminar for the staff of the Boys and Girls Club of The Big Pines at 4 p.m. on Aug. 4 at the club.

NEW YORK, N.Y. (7/14/15) - Starting off the 2015 pre-season with seven All-Americans, East Texas Baptist University football is gearing up for a breakout season. Seven players were named USA Football Network NCAA Division III pre-season All-Americans on the first team, second team, third team, and honorable mention.
