The Honors Program provides an intellectually stimulating and supportive environment in which ETBU’s brightest students can pursue knowledge and godly wisdom.
During their first two years, program participants enroll in honors seminars that count toward the general education requirements for all majors. Then, during their final two years, students work one-on-one with a faculty member in their major to complete an honors project.
Admission to the program is granted on the basis of academic performance and Christian character. In our 2012-2013 cohort, the average ACT is over 28 and the average GPA over 3.9. Students of outstanding character and motivation are encouraged to apply regardless of their scores.
Each year, twelve incoming honors students also receive $2,000 scholarships, which will be added to their other academic scholarships. These scholarships will be awarded to the twelve most outstanding incoming scholars. No separate application is required.
