Group Campus Visit

About

ETBU offers group tours (capacity 50) to schools and educational groups. Group visits are scheduled according to availability Monday – Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. only and will be available beginning January 2024. As our guests, we want you to have the best experience possible. Please review our group tour guidelines below. If you are unable to schedule your visit online, please call the Admissions Office at 903.923.2000.

Availability

Group Tours are available beginning January 3, 2024: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
ETBU Office Hours: Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

All students who sign up to visit the ETBU campus, meet with an Admissions Counselor, and submit their Application for Admission, will have their $25 application fee waived.

We are excited about you visiting East Texas Baptist University. Your campus visit will begin with a welcome and information session from a member of our Admissions Staff followed by a tour of campus from a current ETBU student. Please allow 1.5 hours for the tour and information session. One week's notice of your visit is appreciated.

Group visits are scheduled Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. 

The University is closed to group tours on weekends.  Thank you!

Submitting this request does not guarantee the availability of the group’s preferred dates. ETBU will contact the group leader for alternate dates if needed.

  • The University can accommodate 50 students plus chaperones.
  • The visit includes an information session from an Admissions Counselor and a walking tour of our campus. The combination of the session and tour will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Lunch is not included in the visit.
  • The campus tour will not be started more than 10 minutes early and may be shortened or canceled for those arriving more than 10 minutes late.
  • Chaperones must remain with the group at all times and are responsible for addressing student behavior while on ETBU’s campus.
  • The group will respect the facilities they use and will be held responsible for any damages that may occur to the facilities during their visit.
