East Texas Baptist University administered a one-week December Mini-Term from December 10-14, is offering a two-week Winter Mini-Term from December 10-January 11, and will host a one-week January Mini-Term from January 7-11. Overall, the 31 courses offered have more than 590 total student enrollments compared to 395 total student enrollments in 2017-2018 for the same mini-terms, nearly a 50 percent increase.

With a shared mission to meet the needs of students across the East Texas region, East Texas Baptist University and Kilgore College (KC) furthered their partnership. 

Starting in the Fall 2018 semester, ETBU will host university-level courses on KC's Kilgore campus, allowing KC students to take ETBU courses leading toward a bachelor's degree in Education (early childhood through sixth grade) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). 

East Texas Baptist University partnered with Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) through an articulation agreement. The agreement, signed by ETBU President J. Blair Blackburn and NTCC President Ron Clinton, will provide an affordable avenue for NTCC students to pursue a quality, Christian education at East Texas Baptist. 

East Texas Baptist University administered one-week and two-week Mini-Term courses, beginning on Monday, December 11 and concluding on Friday, January 12. More than 170 students were enrolled in nine courses, including December, January, and Winter terms.  

ETBU initiates the Tiger Transfer Track Program
As a part of the Tiger Transfer Track Program, East Texas Baptist University has broadened its reach by signing articulation agreements with nine educational institutions and ministry organizations including the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler (UTHSCT), Kilgore College, Jacksonville College, Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC), Youth with A Mission (YWAM), Panola College, Navarro College, Tyler Junior College (TJC), and Angelina College.
