ETBU Team Named Outstanding Delegation at the American Model United Nations Conference

MARSHALL, Texas (12/14/15) - The Model United Nations team from East Texas Baptist University garnered the "Outstanding Delegation Award" at the American Model United Nations (AMUN) Conference held in Chicago, Nov. 21-24. The team was comprised of seven students who represented Cambodia in the General Assembly Plenary.

The ETBU delegation competed against 120 other schools, such as Kansas State University, Indiana University, University of Notre Dame, Baylor University, and University of Arizona.

ETBU School of Humanities Holds 2014-2015 Honors Ceremony

MARSHALL, Texas (5/12/15) - The School of Humanities at East Texas Baptist University honored its outstanding students during its Honors Chapel ceremony on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Students from the Department of Communication, Languages and Literature, and History and Political Science were recognized for their achievement during the 2014-2015 Academic Year.

ETBU School of Humanities Plans Trip to the Holy Land, May 11-23

MARSHALL, Texas (1/29/15) - Have you ever thought about "what is it like to walk where Jesus walked?"  The East Texas Baptist University School of Humanities is providing this "once in a life time opportunity" for the Marshall community to travel to Israel this May with students, and experience the wonders of the Holy Land in person.  The Holy Land trip is scheduled for May 11-23.
