MARSHALL, Texas (4/08/16) – The Department of Theatre Arts at East Texas Baptist University presents Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses, on Thursday, April 14, through Saturday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. and a Sunday matinee on April 17, at 2:30 p.m. The production will be held off campus at the Marshall Convention Center, located at 2501 East End Blvd South.  

MARSHALL, Texas (3/29/16) – The East Texas Baptist University Jazz Band will be in concert on Friday, April 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Marshall Grand in downtown Marshall. The ETBU Jazz Band, under the direction of Professor of Music Douglas Lockard, will feature great jazz and blues tunes from the past and present. Admission is $5 or free with ETBU I.D.

MARSHALL, Texas (3/29/16) – East Texas Baptist University announces an increase in enrollment for the spring 2016 semester. A total of 1,148 students are enrolled at ETBU, which is a 1.8 % increase over last year’s enrollment of 1,107.

ETBU also experienced a significant increase in Graduate students with a record enrollment of 86 in Master’s programs. This is a 34.4% increase over Spring 2015.
