ETBU freshmen host community fall festivals at Marshall ISD

East Texas Baptist University’s Learning and Leading classes hosted Fall Festivals for all five of Marshall ISD’s elementary schools, including David Crockett Elementary, Sam Houston Elementary, William B. Travis Elementary, Price T. Young Elementary, and the Marshall Early Childhood Center on Monday, October 2, to serve nearly 1,000 elementary students and their families.

ETBU Honors Marshall ISD Paraprofessionals Participating in MavPATH Program

East Texas Baptist University hosted a luncheon in the Great Hall of the Great Commission Center, celebrating the achievements of 17 dedicated paraprofessionals from Marshall Independent School District (MISD) who are enrolled in the MavPATH program. MavPATH is an initiative that paves the way for these individuals to pursue a bachelor of science in education from ETBU with a focus in elementary education.

Travis Elementary, Price T. Young Elementary, and Marshall Early Childhood Center School on Monday, October 4 to serve elementary students and their families.

ETBU Kinesiology students host field day for community children

Over 350 three and four-year old students from Marshall ISD enjoyed the East Texas Baptist University Kinesiology Department’s 12th annual Washington Early Childhood Center (WECC) Field Day on Wednesday, October 30. ETBU Kinesiology students led the ECC attendees in a variety of physical activities, ranging from parachute play, and tricycle riding, to obstacle course running.
