ETBU receives $1.5 million grant from Mabee Foundation

As East Texas Baptist University seeks to expand academic capabilities, enhance program offerings, and further spread the Gospel across East Texas and throughout the world, the J.E. and L. E. Mabee Foundation recently awarded ETBU a challenge grant in the amount of $1,500,000 towards the construction of the Great Commission Center (GCC), the future home for ETBU's Fred Hale School of Business.

ETBU Tennis serves in Paris, France

The East Texas Baptist University Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams traveled to Paris, France from Thursday, May 30 through Sunday, June 9 as a part of the Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME) program. Led by Great Commission Center and Global Education Director Lisa Seeley, Head Coach Jeff Bramlett, and Assistant Coach Drew Lambert, the group of 15 consisting of athletes and staff partnered with the International Sports Federation (ISF) and Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in evangelism and ministry surrounding the French Open at Roland Garros.

ETBU Dean and Professor of Business Administration Barry Evans, Assistant Professor of History Jenny Hoover, and their students participate in a joint forum with faculty and students of the University of Economics and Finance.

ETBU History and Business students travel to Vietnam

The East Texas Baptist University Fred Hale School of Business and Department of History and Political Science traveled to Vietnam as a part of the Global Study and Serve Program on Sunday, May 12 through Sunday, June 2. Students earned credit for either International Business, taught by Dean and Professor of Business Administration Barry Evans, or Vietnam: Colonialism, Nationalism, and Conflict, taught by Assistant Professor of History Jenny Hoover.
