ETBU School of Christian Studies Hosting T. B. Maston Lecture Series on April 13

MARSHALL, Texas (4/5/16) – The East Texas Baptist University School of Christian Studies is hosting the T.B. Maston Lecture Series on Wednesday, April 13. The speaker is Dr. Roger Olson, Foy Valentine Professor of Christian Theology and Ethics, at Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary. A luncheon will be held from 11:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with the lecture, “America Critically Examined,” from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.

MNM: Campers Invade ETBU To Hone Debate Skills

MARSHALL NEWS MESSENGER (7/18/15) - Domestic surveillance by the government in the U.S. is a hot topic of late, so it was no surprise it turned up on the list of topics to be debated on Friday during the annual Texas Speech and Debate Camp at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall.

More than 200 high school students from across the state spent the week at the university honing their debate skills or learning the craft for the first time.

ETBU & Two Other Religious Institutions Appeal to Supreme Court, Say They Will Fight to Protect Their Faith

Washington, D.C.  (7/08/15) - Today two private universities and a seminary are asking the Supreme Court to protect them from millions of dollars in IRS fines that will be triggered if they refuse to comply with the infamous HHS mandate. Filing the petition today are the same two firms that won the Hobby Lobby case against the government's HHS mandate one year ago.
