SOFTBALL: MARSHALL, Texas (2/10/16) - East Texas Baptist University softball players Jayme Perez and Lacey Lindsey have earned pre-season awards from HeroSports being named All-Americans to start the 2016 season. Perez has been selected to the first team as a designated player and Lindsey on the second team at first base.

Both players are two-time NFCA All-Americans in their first two seasons at ETBU. Last year they both were NFCA All-American second-team selections while Lacey was the co-Offensive Player of the Year in the ASC. Below are the bios from HeroSports.com

ASC: RICHARDSON, Texas (12/7/15) - For the second time this year East Texas Baptist University women's basketball player April Leonard has been named the American Southwest Conference East Division Player of the Week. Leonard guided ETBU to a 2-0 week and a 1-0 start in the ASC.

MARSHALL, Texas (12/04/15) - East Texas Baptist University joined KSLA-TV for its Annual Holiday Food Drive held on Wednesday, Dec. 2.  The Marshall community donated over one ton of canned goods and non-perishable food items during the drive. The donated food is now on the shelves of the United Churches of Marshall Food Pantry at Mission Marshall to be distributed to Harrison County families in need.
