Visit ETBU

Visiting the campus is the best way to determine if a university will be a "good fit" for you! Let us customize an individual campus visit to meet your specific needs or come and experience one of our preview days.  Come see for yourself what ETBU has to offer and the exciting experiences that await you!

Prospective students and families can experience ETBU first-hand by scheduling a Campus Visit or Group Campus Visit. This will be so much more than just a campus tour, so get ready.  You will speak with current students and faculty/staff, have the option to sit in on a class, meet with an admissions counselor, experience worship during chapel, try out our buffet-style dining hall, and much more!  We want you to have the best possible experience while you're our guest. Let us know what you would like to do and we will customize your visit.

Recommended Attire: Dress casually and wear comfortable walking shoes. You will be outdoors for your campus tour and many transitions between activities; be aware of the weather forecast.

Preview events are a unique way to discover what East Texas Baptist University has to offer and to experience campus life firsthand. We encourage you to come to one, two or a variety of all three!

You'll have the opportunity to eat in the Bennett Student Commons (proudly served by Sodexo), meet your admissions counselor, tour the ETBU campus, experience chapel, stay in a residence hall, attend classes of your choice, meet other prospective students and learn about the culture of our university.

Our admissions staff, along with faculty and other volunteers, will guide the day for you and your family. Learn more about the individual preview events below and register for the event that you think best fits you!

Tiger Day is a FREE preview event open to ALL prospective high school and transfer students and their families. Activities include: Departmental & Campus Life Expo, Q & A Sessions, Admissions & Financial Aid Presentations.

ETBU Preview is an event designed just for prospective freshmen and transfer students. This is a great time to explore campus, experience college life in person, and ask any questions you might have about attending ETBU. Parents welcomed too!
