East Texas Baptist University faculty, staff, and students joined together on campus on Friday, November 1 to celebrate Texas State Arbor Day by planting trees and enhancing the University’s beautiful grounds.

East Texas Baptist University celebrated Homecoming 2024 by welcoming alumni and friends to campus Friday, October 18, through Saturday, October 19.

East Texas Baptist University celebrated the dedication and service of two exemplary students during a special chapel service held on October 9. Senior Skylar Bussing and junior Levi Endris were awarded the Dr. Bob and Gayle Riley Servant Leadership Award for their outstanding commitment to Christ-centered servant leadership.

East Texas Baptist University's Learning and Leading classes organized and hosted the 13th annual Fall Festivals for all five of Marshall ISD's elementary schools on Monday, September 30. The events at David Crockett Elementary, Sam Houston Elementary, William B. Travis Elementary, Price T. Young Elementary, and the Marshall Early Childhood Center provided an evening of fun and community engagement for nearly 1,000 elementary students and their families.

East Texas Baptist University hosted the second annual Lyceum, a forum for Christian thinkers, writers, and scholars, on Monday, September 30, in the Woods Great Room of the Ornelas Student Center. This free, public event, organized by the School of Christian Studies and Humanities, welcomed attendees to engage in a thought-provoking evening centered on the intersection of faith and scholarship.
