East Texas Baptist University Hosts Fall Festivals for Marshall ISD Elementary Schools

East Texas Baptist University's Learning and Leading classes organized and hosted the 13th annual Fall Festivals for all five of Marshall ISD's elementary schools on Monday, September 30. The events at David Crockett Elementary, Sam Houston Elementary, William B. Travis Elementary, Price T. Young Elementary, and the Marshall Early Childhood Center provided an evening of fun and community engagement for nearly 1,000 elementary students and their families.

East Texas Baptist University Named to Phi Theta Kappa 2024 Transfer Honor Roll

East Texas Baptist University has been named to the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society’s 2024 Transfer Honor Roll, recognizing its commitment to providing exceptional pathways and support for transfer students. ETBU is one of 228 colleges and universities across the nation selected for this honor, which acknowledges institutions that excel in creating seamless transitions for community college students pursuing bachelor’s degrees.

ETBU Fall Choir Concert Showcases Worship and Performance

East Texas Baptist University invites the community to its Fall Choir Concert on Thursday, October 10, at 7:00 p.m. in the Great Commission Center on the ETBU campus. Under the direction of Dr. Pat Antinone, Director of Choral Activities, the ETBU Concert Choir and the Hilltop Singers will perform a selection of pieces highlighting the rich intersection of worship and performance.

ETBU Celebrates Marshall ISD Paraprofessionals in MavPATH Program

East Texas Baptist University recently hosted a luncheon in the Great Hall of the Great Commission Center to honor the achievements of 13 paraprofessionals from Marshall Independent School District (MISD) enrolled in the MavPATH program. The initiative, a collaboration between ETBU and MISD, is designed to support paraprofessionals in obtaining their bachelor's degree in education, focusing on elementary education.
