ETBU enters into 2024-2025 academic year with Convocation

East Texas Baptist University held its annual Convocation chapel service on Monday, September 9, welcoming students, faculty, and staff to Baker Chapel for a time of worship, prayer, and dedication to officially launch the 2024-2025 academic year. Through Convocation, the University provides students with a greater understanding of the Christ-centered mission of ETBU and God's purposes for each Tiger student by sharing the values, core commitments, and traditions of the institution.

ETBU Celebrates Strong Enrollment for Fall 2024 Semester

East Texas Baptist University announces a total enrollment of 1,813 undergraduate and graduate students for the Fall 2024 semester. This achievement marks the second-highest enrollment in the University's history, reflecting ETBU's ongoing commitment to providing a Christ-centered education that equips students to live out their purpose for the glory of God.

ETBU Bass Anglers Combine Fishing and Faith on Transformative Alaskan Mission

The East Texas Baptist University Bass Fishing team embarked on an unforgettable journey to Soldotna, Alaska, as part of ETBU’s Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME). This trip marks the 21st mission initiative for the ETBU Athletic Department and the second for the Tiger Bass Fishing team, following their 2018 trip to the Amazon River in Brazil.
