ETBU Claims 2024 NCAA Division III Softball National Championship

On the final day of the NCAA Division III Softball National Championship on the campus of East Texas Baptist University, No. 2-seeded ETBU erupted for 17 runs, including five home runs securing the program's second national championship. ETBU Softball to Compete for National Title at Jason Bell Park 

The East Texas Baptist University Softball team punched its ticket to the 2024 NCAA Division III Softball National Championship with the NCAA Marshall Super Regional victory last week. The team will compete for the national title on the Tigers' home field as ETBU is hosting the National Championship in Marshall, May 30 - June 5, at Jason Bell Park at Taylor Field.

186 graduates conferred during ETBU’s Spring 2024 Commencement

East Texas Baptist University presented 186 graduates with degrees during its commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 10, in Baker Chapel of the Rogers Spiritual Life Center. ETBU President J. Blair Blackburn presided over the ceremony, during which 165 students received undergraduate degrees and 21 received graduate degrees. ETBU’s Erin Berry wins undergraduate research competition at Southwestern Psychological Association

East Texas Baptist University senior psychology major Erin Berry recently won the undergraduate research competition at the Southwestern Psychological Association (SWPA) conference in San Antonio, Texas. Berry's project, Will Funny Chickens Cross the Road?: Humor Styles and First Impressions, secured her victory at the esteemed event.
