AWARDS: Eargle Named ASC Coach of Year; 18 Players Earn Honors

ASC FOOTBALL: MARSHALL, Texas (11/20/15) - It was a championship year for the East Texas Baptist University football team and now they are receiving individual awards for that team accomplishment. ETBU has 18 players that earned an American Southwest Conference award as five were named to the first team. Head coach Joshua Eargle was then awarded the "Coach of the Year" and Bryce Hale was named to the Outstanding Sportsmen "Team of the Year."

WEEKEND TIGER ATHLETICS: ETBU Ends Season as ASC Tri-Champions

FOOTBALL: BELTON, Texas (11/14/15) - Finishing up the 2015 regular season with seven wins, the #23 East Texas Baptist University football team didn't have enough offensive fire power to keep up with #13 Mary Hardin-Baylor (9-1/4-1) as they received their first American Southwest Conference loss of the year, 67-20. ETBU finishes ASC play as tri-champions with UMHB and Hardin-Simmons University and is their second overall championship in the history of the program.

#TIGERSWIN: ASC Champions!!!

FOOTBALL: MARSHALL, Texas (11/7/15) - A championship chapter was written on Saturday in the Josh Eargle era as he coached the East Texas Baptist University football team to their first American Southwest Conference championship since 2003. With a 27-21 victory over #8 Hardin-Simmons University (8-1, 3-1), ETBU is now guaranteed a share of the ASC championship as they move to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

Weekend Tiger Athletics: Football, Soccer, & Cross Country

FOOTBALL: ALPINE, Texas (10/31/15) - It's been ten years since the East Texas Baptist University football team has had a winning season and with a 61-21 win over Sul Ross State University they will have it. The six wins are the most since 2005 five and ETBU has two games left to try for more wins and will now be playing for the right for first place in the American Southwest Conference next Saturday vs. Hardin-Simmons.
