ETBU Volleyball Team visits Chile During Spring Break as part of Tiger Athletic Mission Experience

The East Texas Baptist University Volleyball visited Chile during the University’s Spring Break holiday to do mission work March 8-16. The eight-day trip was part of the Tiger Athletics Mission Experience (TAME), which allows student-athletes to use their God-given talents and abilities to share their faith with people all across the globe as they strive to transform the world for Christ.

ETBU Baseball Team Empowers and Impacts Dominican Republic Communities on TAME Trip

The East Texas Baptist University Baseball team served the people of the Dominican Republic as part of the Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME), December 10-16. Throughout the seven-day mission trip, the team showcased their passion for baseball and displayed God’s love by engaging with the local community through service projects.

Tiger Athletic Mission Experience takes ETBU Softball to Australia

East Texas Baptist University’s Tiger Softball Team traveled to Australia in December for the University’s fourteenth Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME) trip. Led by the Director of Global Education and Great Commission Center Lisa Seeley, Vice President for Athletics Ryan Erwin, and Head Softball Coach Janae Shirley, the group of 41 athletes and staff partnered with the International Sports Federation (ISF), an organization that seeks to change the world through sports.

Tiger Athletic Mission Experience resumes with Tiger Golf trip to Scotland

East Texas Baptist University’s Tiger Golf Team traveled to St. Andrews, Scotland, in early June, marking the first Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME) trip since the COVID-19 pandemic and the thirteenth TAME trip overall. The group of 20 student-athletes, coaches, and staff, partnered with International Sports Federation (ISF) and spent eight days serving the people of Scotland and playing golf before returning home.
