ETBU Volleyball Team visits Chile During Spring Break as part of Tiger Athletic Mission Experience

The East Texas Baptist University Volleyball visited Chile during the University’s Spring Break holiday to do mission work March 8-16. The eight-day trip was part of the Tiger Athletics Mission Experience (TAME), which allows student-athletes to use their God-given talents and abilities to share their faith with people all across the globe as they strive to transform the world for Christ.

ETBU Baseball Team Empowers and Impacts Dominican Republic Communities on TAME Trip

The East Texas Baptist University Baseball team served the people of the Dominican Republic as part of the Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME), December 10-16. Throughout the seven-day mission trip, the team showcased their passion for baseball and displayed God’s love by engaging with the local community through service projects.

Tiger Athletic Mission Experience takes ETBU Women’s Soccer to New Zealand

The East Texas Baptist University Women’s Soccer Team had a unique opportunity to minister to the people of New Zealand during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup as part of the Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME), July 18-31. The team engaged the community through soccer, mission projects, prayer, and conversations during the 14-day mission trip.

East Texas Baptist Cross Country and Track Teams serve in Greece

Following the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations, the East Texas Baptist University Cross Country and Track traveled to Athens, Greece on a Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME) trip from January 2 through 10. While tensions mount in other parts of the world, the group of 34 ETBU athletes, coaches, and staff traveled for more than 30 hours to partner with International Sports Federation (ISF) and Streetlights, a community discipleship ministry that focuses on working with refugees from Europe and the Middle East.
