MARSHALL, Texas (1/28/16) - Thursday night will be a special night in Ornelas Gym as the East Texas Baptist University men's basketball team host Military Appreciation Night. The men's basketball team would like to honor all those that are currently serving and have served for our country.
"We just want to honor our current and former veterans here in Marshall for what they have done for us and this country," says head coach Bert West. "We want to take time to say thank you to the people that do the hard jobs for us to do what we want to do."
ETBU is hosting LeTourneau at 7:30 p.m. and all military personnel will be admitted for free and then recognized at halftime by standing up in their seat. This is the third year in a row that ETBU has had a Military Appreciation Game.
The ETBU Lady Tigers play LETU beginning at 5:30 p.m.
