MARSHALL, Texas (1/29/15) - High School seniors and college transfer students are invited to attend Shadow Day at East Texas Baptist University Thursday, February 12, through Friday, February 13, 2015. Shadow Day is an event sponsored by the ETBU Office of Admissions.
"Shadow Day is a wonderful opportunity for students to truly experience campus life," said ETBU Director of Admissions Jason Soles. "The events and information sessions provide a picture to see what ETBU has to offer both academically and socially."
The visit to campus allows prospective students to spend the night in the dorm, socialize with current students, and visit with professors at breakfast and attend classes. Shadow Day participants will join current students on Thursday evening for dinner and on-campus event.
High School seniors or college transfer students must pre-register as there is limited space available. A $20 non-refundable fee for Shadow Day must be paid to reserve registration for the event, however if a student submits their Application for Admission and Financial Aid during "Shadow Day," their $25 application fee will be waived.

6:00 p.m.- Check-in and meet your ETBU host
6:30 p.m.- ETBU Tiger Basketball Game
10:00 p.m. - On Campus Entertainment
Friday, February 13
8:00 a.m.-8:45 a.m.- Breakfast with Professors
9:00 a.m.-9:50 a.m.- Attend Class of your choice
10:00 a.m.-10:50 a.m.- Tiger Talk (parents welcome)
11:00 a.m.-11:50 a.m.- Attend Class #2 of your choice (PARENTS: Information Session)
12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.- Lunch in Bennett Student Commons
1:15 p.m.- Shadow Day Closing Rally
