MARSHALL, Texas (11/29/15) - The Department of Theatre Arts at East Texas Baptist University proudly presents a Discovery Series one-act production of Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park," directed by senior Sally Perkins. Performances will be Dec. 3-5 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m. in the Jenna Guest Music Building Black Box Theatre on campus.
In this comedy, newlyweds Paul and Corie Bratter learn to face reality as they move from the honeymoon phase of their marriage to the daily challenges that every couple faces. Their lives are compounded by extraordinary and unexpected events that could only come from the mind of playwright Neil Simon. Come see if the young couple learns to balance the needs of their marriage against the insurmountable odds leveled against them.
