Polly Cargill Endowed Nursing Scholarship

Brothers Jerry and Jack Cargill, who grew up in Marshall, established the scholarship fund in 2003 to honor the memory of their mother, Polly.  Awarded annually, the Polly Cargill Endowed Nursing Scholarship program plays a significant role in providing healthcare education to students who are called to the nursing profession and accepted for entrance into the ETBU School of Nursing.

The scholarship will be awarded through application and students will be selected by the Polly Cargill Endowed Nursing Scholarship Committee.  Students in good standing and enrolled in the ETBU Teague School of Nursing are eligible to apply. Applications will be reviewed by the Polly Cargill Endowed Nursing Scholarship Committee. Recipients will be selected based on the student’s character, leadership, academic achievement, community service, personal references, and essay submission.
