What is my email address and username?
For all students:
Email Address: (example:
Username: email address without the (example: john_doe).
How do I forward my Tigermail email to another email address?
Log into your Tigermail account.
In the upper right-hand side of the screen click "Options".
Then click "See All Options".
On the right-hand side under "Shortcuts to other things you can do" click "Forward your e-mail".
Near the bottom of the screen enter the email address you would like to forward your Tigermail to and click save.
How do I access my Tigermail account from the internet?
You can login to your mail from a web browser at using your Microsoft Account (your full email address).
Your password is the same as your existing ETBU password.
How do I set up Tigermail on my mobile device?
Use this setup wizard for help in setting up your mobile phone or device to access your Tigermail account.(Please select the 'Set Up Microsoft Exchange E-Mail' option)
How do I setup my home computer to access my Tigermail?

What is Tigermail?
Tigermail provides cloud-based, enterprise-class communication services, such as exchange email, calendaring, and contacts.
What is my Microsoft Account?
Your Microsoft Account is your full ETBU email address.
I can't login, what can I do?
Make sure you are using the correct username, which is your full ETBU email address (, and the correct password. If you are still unable to login, please contact IT at ext 2021.
What is my Tigermail password?
Your Tigermail password is your current ETBU password.
How do I change my Tigermail password?
You can change this password at anytime using the Change My Password option on the ETBU Homepage located under the Quick Links tab.
What is the message's maximum size (including attachments)?
Can I keep my Tigermail services when I graduate?
Yes. The services provided by Office365 (Tigermail) including your email is yours to keep for life.
Is my mail backed up?
Traditional backups are not performed on cloud-based mailboxes. The Microsoft datacenter uses database availability groups (DAGs) to provide high availability and redundancy for mailboxes. Four copies of each mailbox exist in the datacenter, with multiple online copies of the data. If a user inadvertently deletes items from their mailbox, they can use Outlook Web App > Deleted Items > Recover Deleted Items to recover deleted items.
What if I accidentally delete an email, can I get it back?
Items that you delete go into the Deleted Items folder where they can be recovered if necessary. Items will stay in the Deleted Items folder until you manually clean them out. Once emptied from the Deleted Items folder you can recover them for up to a month, after which the item is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. If a user inadvertently deletes items from their mailbox, they can use Outlook Web App > Deleted Items > Recover Deleted Items to recover deleted items
How do I search for a student's new email address?
All ETBU email addresses are located in your outlook address book. To search for an email address, click the box that says "To..." in the new message box. This will bring up your contacts in a pop up. Select the "Global Address List from the drop-down menu. Search for the student's name and double click the name in the results. Your will see the name added to the "To ->" field at the bottom of the window. Once you have found all the names you are looking for, select "ok" and type your message.
