Rouba Palmer is an Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at East Texas Baptist University. Having grown up mainly in Australia, she has lived in 6 countries across the globe, and although considers herself a citizen of the world, Rouba now calls the United States her home. She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Directing at Florida State University and is passionate about creating art for the Kingdom of God. Alongside directing and teaching, Rouba also has a love for writing and has been blessed to have directed some of her own work, including The Jewellery Box: A Play about Human Trafficking, which raised $10,000 for the A21 Campaign.
It is Rouba’s desire to teach students to use their God-given gifts not only entertain but to also challenge, educate and make the ‘invisible world visible’ for the glory of Christ.
