Meet Landin Brown

“The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalms 27:1

Landin Brown is part of the Academic Success department at East Texas Baptist University. Landin Brown graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a B.S.E. in Kinesiology. During his time at ETBU, he received either President's or Provost’s list each year. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude and was recognized for being a Christian leader, scholar, and servant by receiving the Presidents Award (2019). Brown is a part of the Men’s basketball team at ETBU and is a member of the Leadership Fellows group on campus.

He has also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall, as well as Marshall Junior High School. He is an active member of Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Brown has received a lot of accolades during his years at ETBU such as the Jim Webb scholarship (2018), NABC Team Academic Excellence (2018) award, All-ASC Defensive team (2018), All-ASC Second team (2018), and All-ASC Freshman team (2017). Brown is currently getting his Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry. Landin Brown wants to be able to spread the gospel to the youth and give them hope to keep going regardless of their circumstances. He wants to be a mentor and a positive role model for the youth.
