Debbie Stevens has more than 16 years of experience serving churches in Tennessee and Texas. She served as the Music Assistant at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee before moving to the position of Administrative Assistant to the Pastor at First Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Most recently, she served as the Administrative Assistant for both Worship and Communications at Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview, Texas where she continues to play piano/keys for the Worship Ministry and sings in the Worship Choir. She studied music at ETBU in the 1980's and has returned to complete a B.A.S. in Leadership Studies. She has been married to Scott Stevens, Dean of Spiritual Life at ETBU, for 32 years. Together they have two children. Tanner, 25, is a teacher in the Marshall ISD, and Annie, 21, is a junior at ETBU. She enjoys music, cooking, crafts and watching sports with her family. She is also a freelance curriculum writer for Growing in Grace in Brentwood, Tennessee. Throughout her life, she has believed that God calls us to excellence in all we do for Him.
