Meet Debbie Stevens

Debbie Stevens serves as the Director of Admissions. She has more than 20 years of experience serving churches in Tennessee and Texas. Most recently, she served as Productions Coordinator at Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. As an active member of Mobberly, she enjoys serving in the Worship Ministry as an instrumentalist and a member of the Worship Choir. Mrs. Stevens previously worked as the Gifts Officer in the Office of Advancement at ETBU before transitioning to her current position of serving new students and their families in the Office of Admissions. She studied music at ETBU in the 1980s and later returned to complete her B.A.S. in Leadership Studies. She has been married to Scott Stevens, Dean of Spiritual Life at ETBU, for 36 years. Together they have two children. Tanner, 29, who is a teacher in Odessa, Texas, and Annie, 25, who serves as a student minister in Sugarland, Texas. She enjoys music, cooking, crafts, and watching sports with her family
