"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Becky Davis, Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Communication, leads the Marketing and Communication team at ETBU. Before beginning her journey on the Hill, Becky served for four years as Marketing Director at United Way of the Brazos Valley and taught high school journalism for nine years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Communication. At thirteen, she began telling stories, designing graphics, and taking pictures on her junior newspaper and yearbook staff. Her passion was clear at that time, and she has continued learning and growing in this field over the last 23 years as well as helping others do so. She is glad that the skill set she earned from a young age has allowed her to serve in ministry at the University. Becky loves to represent the story of ETBU through her work and hopes that this story impacts people for the Kingdom. She lives in Longview with her husband/high school sweetheart, Michael, and children, Zoey and Nolan.
