Fall 2022 COVID Protocols

If individuals are symptomatic, they may use a COVID home test or contact Sisk Health Services Clinic through the Health Services COVID Symptoms Report for students or employees to schedule a test in the clinic.

If taking a test at home, individuals must send a picture of the test with the name and date written on the test cassette to healthservices@etbu.edu. Sisk Health Services will follow up to confirm individual protocols.

Individuals who test positive for COVID, regardless of vaccination status must:

  • Stay home for at least 5 days. Days are calculated from the date of positive test results.
  • Isolate from others in home/resident room.
  • Wear a well-fitting mask around others in your home/residence room for ten days.
  • Isolation may be ended after five full days, if individuals are fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication and symptoms are improving, then students, faculty, and staff may return to normal activities and work.

Individuals who are exposed with no symptoms, regardless of vaccination status, are not required to isolate but should wear a well-fitted mask for seven days around others at work and during indoor school activities:

  • Watch for symptoms until 10 days after your last close contact with someone with COVID.
  • If symptoms develop, isolate immediately and get tested. Continue to stay home until you know the results. Wear a well-fitting mask around others.
