We are excited about the new vision we have established this year through Project: ETBUreach to allow our faculty and staff members to travel to recruiting fairs to interact with prospective students and their families and share about the Christ-centered educational experience at ETBU. Unified in Kingdom purpose and institutional mission, we look forward to the opportunity to join together in recruiting new undergraduate students and transfer students and promoting all that the University has to offer.
Many thanks to faculty and staff, who have already signed up to participate in this outreach program. Kristyn Kempf, Director of Recruitment has worked to accommodate schedules and preferred travel locations to best supplement coverage for the fairs planned for this year. Kristyn will be in touch with you to communicate your volunteer assignments. Please work with your supervisor to arrange for your leave from campus to participate in these recruiting opportunities.
We still have available fairs that we feel are important to cover to be most effective in our recruitment efforts. I encourage you, if you have not already, to volunteer as an Ambassador through Project: ETBUreach, so ETBU can build a larger database of interested prospective students and hopefully develop them into members of the ETBU Family.
- How can you help?

Volunteer to cover 1-3 high school and college recruitment fairs in a region of Texas or Louisiana. ETBU will provide transportation or travel reimbursement, meal coverage, and if needed, overnight hotel lodging. We will provide you with the promotional materials, table banner, giveaway items, and student prospect interest cards. You attend the fair, talk about the dynamic college life at ETBU with prospective students and their families, and collect prospect interest cards. ETBU Admissions will follow up by mail, phone call, and social media to every potential ETBU Tiger student, whom you meet and collect interest cards.

1. Email Janet Breckenridge at jbreckenridge@etbu.edu to share your willingness to be an Ambassador for Project: ETBUreach.
2. Share with Janet, if you have an interest in representing us in your home region or at your former high school or community college. If you have family in a certain area of Texas or Louisiana share that information, so you can coordinate your high school/college fair with your family and an area you are more familiar.
3. You will be contacted by Janet or one of our admissions personnel to coordinate the date(s) for your high school or college fair for this coming Fall 2019 semester.
4. You will be asked to attend a 30-minute training/information session hosted by Undergraduate Admissions prior to representing at a fair. This brief session will give you the opportunity to understand the typical ETBU table set up and how to answer basic admissions and scholarship information.
