Admissions Requirements


Transfer students who have earned at least 24 hours of transferable credit with at least a 2.0 GPA will be admitted to the university. Transfer students who have less than 24 transferable hours must meet the Freshman admission standards (see below). All transfers students must submit all official transcripts from all colleges attended. For transcripts to be considered official, they must come directly to ETBU from the issuing institution in the mail or SPEEDE. All students must be in good academic standing at the last college attended.

Freshman Admission Standards:
ACT score of 18 or above (excluding writing)
OR
SAT score of 860 or above (excluding writing)
OR
Graduate in upper 30% of graduating class    

 

{Note: Students who are accepted based on class rank must still provide official ACT or SAT scores.}

Graduates from non-accredited institutions or home-schools must have a composite ACT of 18 (excluding Writing) or a Math/Verbal composite SAT score of 860 for acceptance to the University.

Non-graduates of high school may submit a General Education Diploma (GED) certificate. These prospective students must also have a composite ACT of 18 (excluding Writing) or a Math/Verbal composite SAT score of 860 for acceptance to the University.
